Optional Lacquer coating

Select the option to have your coasters coated with a gloss finish Lacquer. This process does not affect the image though does make the overall coaster appearance darker. The Lacquer finish will help to avoid water stains over time. Un-Lacquered coaters will not fade and the engraving cannot be wiped away as it changes the composition of the slate itself. Some prefer the natural lighter tones of un-lacquered stone so we chose to provide this as an option for our customers. The image provided here shows the difference where the coaster on the left has been lacquered only.
